Mary's Way of the Cross

Close
7:00 pm8:30 pm

Mary, the Mother of Jesus, made the first Way of the Cross. This event approaches the Stations of the Cross through Mary’s eyes as she experiences what Jesus was going through on the way to Calvary. It has been Catholic tradition through the centuries to meditate on the Way of the Cross, so that is becomes our way of life. This event will help you go deeper and deeper into the sufferings of Christ, so that we might come out of this spiritual journey with an appreciation of what Christ did for us and a deeper love for him and for our brothers and sisters. All are welcome, but please note: *Realistic images and depictions will be shown.* The event is sponsored by the volunteers of the Garments of Praise Ministry, whose mission is to “provide for those who grieve in Zion (around the world) to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. . .” Isaiah 61:3
